Power Window /Power Lock Harness

My Suburban is still on the boat and I should have it this week.

I’m making my list of slight oem mods I’m Thinking of doing.

First on list is a potential power window upgrade. The truck has power locks but no Power windows. I found the repair manual here and read somewhere else that the power window and power lock wire harness is twisted together.

My question is, since the truck has power locks, is there a good possibility it already has the power window harness in the truck? Or did the plant add the harness that was on the build sheet. So for my truck it would only put a wire harness in for the power locks.

Thanks

Re: Power Window /Power Lock Harness

I would wait to see if GM had used a power PL/PW harness and the power Window connector are just sitting there. In that case you would need buttons, button clips, (41,44 the clips in most case do not come the switches scrap lard find. (21) (23) (24) check your fuse block see if that fuse is pined. (Has the copper inside.) 27,28,31 L/R if you have rear doors then 32. Best bet is loaded Suburban donor. or loaded truck. for your power window add on or p/w-p/l parts list.
