I found a 15 inch original style steering wheel.

When I bought my 67-68 steering wheel from LMC and sat it onto my new steering column I was shocked. I've never sat in a C10 and held a 17 inch steering wheel. I don't know if it takes some getting use to but man it was comical. It's like holding a bus steering wheel while sitting in a pickup truck. It's disorienting for a person that is new to this.

I decided I didn't want to risk it so went looking for a 15 inch wheel knowing I wouldn't find anything classy that looks OEM like my favorite, the 67-68 wheel!

After 3 hours searching for something to settle on, I found a company that makes a 15 inch, 67-68 original style replica steering wheel!

I'm interested in a 15" that looks like '67 OEM. I use my original 17" with power steering and would be interested in hearing from others on if steering improved with a smaller steering wheel, maybe making it less sensitive and more positive.

yes the 17's are just too big, and difficult to get use to if you've been driving modern vehicles for a while. I have a 15" in my 1972 and it's about the right size. I cannot imagine a 17" for daily use

I just installed a 14 inch Forever Sharp wheel in mine. Much better feel.

I wouldn’t mine the look and feel of a smaller wheel but with manual steering and not wanting to change it I’m gonna stick with the full size and leave it alone. Maybe someday I’ll upgrade to power steering and go for a smaller option.

I like the original size wheel, probably would like the smaller wheel too, just something you would need to get used to. But man are they expensive, whew!

Yeah buddy they are. I'm glad the new 15 didn't cost anymore than the 17 inch but I wish in general they were cheaper.

I know my 67-68 wheel is a direct fit for my 67-72 column but what's your setup?

I believe all steering wheels up to 94 interchange. in 95, because of air bags, things changed. Not sure if splines are different or what. Just told they don't fit by local mechanic. Biggest difference is the horn connections or configuration between the generations. I have a 93 C1500 steering wheel on my 70. I believe before 67 they fit but the turn signal cams are way different and may not light up correctly.

I agree.

I'm using a steering wheel from a 1993 S10 Blazer LT to preserve my near mint '69 wheel. There were at least 3 versions of this wheel used on '87 to '94 trucks Blazers and Suburbans depending on trim level and model. Mine is the leather wrapped version. See pictures below.
