Re: stuck window
On my passenger window it was really hard to move up and down while cranking even when pushing down or pulling glass up to assist.
Sprayed everything and still heard a dry sound, and thought it must be the enclosed shell that has the gears for window roller handle, drilled a small hole at bottom just big enough to fit the WD40 straw in, and flooded it several times first with WD40 to push out any shavings, then started working the handle and kept putting in WD40 and the noise went away and it made it go up and down real easy. I’m sure some will say this is not the correct way and I should buy a new component but if I remember it was riveted into the door, working great still after 3-4 months. |

Re: stuck window
I haven't had a stuck window before, but on the passenger side of mine, one of the plastic rollers froze up and has worn down enough to where it won't roll. Makes the window hard to roll up or down. It could be a combo for you with both a stuck roller and mechanism

Re: stuck window
Mine were pretty rough and flooding the pancake spring for the regulators with PB Blaster really flushed out a ton of rust and smoothed them out considerably. I just kept doing it and once it started smoothing out I rolled the window up and down as I did it some more.

Re: stuck window
I would be looking at running my pressure washer inside of it as best I could to see what could be washed away. You could also look to see if someone has fixed it to stay up with a screw or weld somplace.
