Any SPID experts that can help with this?
I purchased a 1970 K5 Blazer and here is what is left of the SPID. The SPID VIN number does match the VIN on the door jam. Thanks in advance for any help with the info on the damaged right column.

By chance does the truck still have its build sheet? Between that and some SPID references you can remake one.

Re: Any SPID experts that can help with this?
I don't know what to say about the missing codes. I'd say build it as you please and have a SPID made. At this point the Blazer is beyond authentication. I wonder if the glovebox door is original and the body was replaced or the opposite. My guess is the SPID was torn of because of the mismatch. But It's odd that the VIN was left to be seen

Re: Any SPID experts that can help with this?
Try to determine what it actually has on it....the rest you'll have to guess at.
Look here for option codes www.outintheshop.com This guy will make what you want and send a preview also look at other SPID labels from the same year to determine the code and description. Here's one from my '70 that I had reproduced...I changed the interior code from the original blue to black....all others stayed the same.

Two "Z"s, so maybe gauges? Easy to check. "M4" something is probably M49, THM trans.

Re: Any SPID experts that can help with this?
Post good detailed pics of the truck and maybe we can narrow some down further.
I went through the Blazer SPID thread and the others are from my own research on SPIDs for the past 35 years. MODEL= KE105014 (2WD is CE10514) - unreadable but is probably a seat code, very likey "4A53AC Rear Seat Equipment (if so equipped) 4F60AH Heavy Duty Front Springs - Unreadable (could be A11 tinted glass, A09 frameless glass, A50 bucket seats, B93 Door edge guards, F76 free wheeling hubs, BX2 body side mouldings who knows) 4J70BW Brake Booster Equipment - 4K???? *there are only a few K RPOs available in 1970, Could be K30 cruise control, K05 engine block heater) 4K31AA Manual Throttle control - 4K???? Generator code either K76 61 amp or K79 43 amp 4LS9BD 350 Cu. In. V8 engine - 4M49JA Turbo Hydra-Matic 4N40BR Power Steering - 4RR2??(likely AB) 10x165x6 FRT RR&SP (tires) 4T60AA Heavy Duty Battery - 4U???? could be U29 courtesy lamps (looks likely), U16 tachometer 4U63BA Radio Pushbutton - 4Z53TC(guessing) Ammeter-oil gauge 4Z58AA Auxiliary top-white - 4Z84ZJ (most likely code) Custom Sport Truck 4524AA Hugger Orange - 4????? Interior code, have to see your interior That's what I've gathered. Probably isn't 100% accurate since I am more familiar with squarebodies but pouring over the RPO list on GM's website, the Blazer SPID thread and a brochure, I'd say I'm 96% accurate. As I said, pictures would likely help nail down the unknowns and you can get a replacement.

^ Wow, that's amazing! Well done, even if some are only guesses. Way more than I got out of it.
