dumb question. I bought my truck in pieces. The hood bolted on perfectly. My truck is a 78. thinking of buying this insulator. Is there any chance my hood would fit any other year. I see where there is a year difference on these.

Yeah there is a year difference.
It is not a dumb question.

The 73-79 hood is taller in the front lip.
The 80 - 87 is rounded in the front
