Vent window question
So from everything I have researched the 67 C10 vent window is unique. So if I order 68 -72 frames can I use my old 67 glass in them to keep the truck stock?
Seems like I could but I want to make sure there isn't an issue with the latch and/or a slight difference in the window glass etc. so I don't end up shipping back parts. The post broke off which started the ball rolling. I thought about trying to repair the post but that metal is pretty thin and I can't find any tips on that. Thanks |

Re: Vent window question
The 67 has a different latch that has ho hole thru the glass..... 68-72 has a hole thru the glass for the latch to pass thru.
They will interchange

Re: Vent window question
Saw a guy on the net braze one so I wouldn't be out much trying to get that done.

Re: Vent window question
When I rebuilt my '67 vent windows not breaking the post was my biggest worry. Soaked with break free for about 5 days before I tried to take them apart.
Good luck, just take your time if you take the other one apart. Hopefully you can braze the broken one back together.
