Greetings from a new 68 stepside owner

Greetings everyone. I'm a long time lurker, and have dreamed of owning a short narrow stepside, ever since owning a 70 stepper back in the 80's. I've dreamed of that truck ever since. I got tired of thinking about it, and pulled the trigger on a crusty truck with lots of rust. It has the original 250 6 and 4 speed on the floor. The tags are from '98, so it has probably been sitting a quarter century. The engine turns over but doesn't start, so I'm currently replacing just about everything to get it running again, so I can move forward with the restoration.

I'm an artist, so I plan on putting one of my paintings on the tailgate, and some advertising. Should be a lot of fun!
