My Blazer has option code "K05 Engine Block Heater". The previous owner rebuilt the engine and I don't see it or the cord. Does anyone have a pic of where in was on the block?

I'm pretty new at engines, so I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

typically their put in the freeze plug hole, but not sure exactly which one on your application

my truck has a heater in the radiator hose, but it isnt listed as an option soooo the p/o must've put it in. there was a thread about this just last night, there are a few different kinds of block heaters but no one said what kind was an actual RPO.

If you're just looking for functionality, I'd get one that runs inline with the heater hose. Had one on my old GMC when I lived in Gunnison where it frequently dropped down to -30 or colder in the winter. Truck always started easily and the heater was instantly warm. Sorry, can't help you out if you're looking for an original suggestion.

I have a heater spliced into my lower radiator hose that works nicely.
