1970 c20
I purchased this 1970 C20 several years ago from the original owners family. The truck is original and has never been messed with. It has rust that needs fixed. I had to install a accelerator pump in the carburetor today and noticed this date code in the air cleaner.

Re: 1970 c20
Thanks I really like Black with Blue interior. The build sheet was in the seat spring here is a photo of the build sheet. The build number on the top left corner the last three digits 993 is in numerous places on the truck.

Re: 1970 c20
Thanks Here’s a photo that shows the wheels better.they are 16.5” aluminum slots. It had the 16.5 lock ring wheels on it when I bought it. With the stainless center caps. The caps were in terrible condition someone didn’t know how to install them and they were beat all to pieces!

Re: 1970 c20
Nice find, always liked the look of a painted bumper. The original PO3's were actually chrome over brass, they were a notoriously soft metal, dented and cracked very easily. The stance seems a little odd for a leaf spring C 20 which normally sit higher in the rear. A leaf spring removed?

Re: 1970 c20
WD-40 and 0000 steel wool will clean the rust on the door panel trim up nicely.

Re: 1970 c20
You never see black trucks with blue interior and it sure is a sexy combination. That truck is a perfectly done C/20. Just right. Let it be what it is, C/20s are a cool class in themselves many don't seem to get and skip over jumping from the shortbed appreciation to K/20s to 1t duallies. Just a handsome and ready looking truck with those slots. That was the very first thing I did when I got the '71 Custom Camper Cheyenne I had.
To me it looks like the front end could be up a little higher than stock, not the rear being lower. Also interesting is the build sheet was stuffed into the buddy buckets when added

Re: 1970 c20
Thanks for all the positive comments and feedback. The buddy buckets are not original to the truck. I had the seats and added them to the truck 😊
