Dynacorn G31 tach
Another question. Will the Dynacorn G31 repro tach work with a HEI distributor? I asked the question from Dynacorn and have not got a response. The sellers don't know. The ads for them don't say anything just state how great their products are. I've seen the same ad pic's that Dynacorn uses on some sellers ad's that say will work with points or HEI but do not tell what Brand the tach's are, and others say will not work or like I stated say nothing!

Finally talked to Dynacorn their tach's do not work with HEI! The suppliers should get it together. I know you can purchase a new circuit board for orig, tachs but I'm surprised no one makes a complete tach,. Don't trust the unbranded eBay tach that say they work.

Did they say why? I don't see why it wouldn't work if you had a tach filter from a late '70s Camaro/Trans Am/Corvette. Like this:
