1968 GMC Reverse Lights not Working
Hi All...
I have a ’68 GMC stepside with a 3-speed on the column. Both reverse lights have stopped working. What is the best sequence of steps to diagnose the issue? Thanks! |

Check the switch on the lower end of the steering column inside the cab. If the house and bulbs are good. You can Google it also to find articles on it. Or go to the FAQ section.

Also check the fuse, it is labeled B/U LPS.

On my 4-speed SM465, the B/U Switch is on the transmission. 3-speeds may be different.

Simple fix. Fuse was blown. Contacts were rusty so I cleaned them up with Dremel wire wheel.
