Minimum Center Bore size of 14 Bolt FF rear axle
I am looking to have a spare stock set of Tires and Rims for my 84 C-20.
Currently it has 36 x 10.50 x 16.0 Super Swampers on it. The center bore is 5 1/8" Diameter on these 10" rims. I want to get a set of rims 6.5 x 16.0 rims. I know some of the van and 2wd rims will not fit this axle. What is the (Factory) center bore Diameter, I need for a 14-bolt full floating rear axle? I have a Corporate 10 bolt in the front.

If your getting an aftermarket wheel, don't worry about it, they will fit. Pretty much any 8 lug wheel will fit. Ford/Dodge used bigger hubs than GM, so they will fit. Even 15" will fit lol. Did you have a wheel in mind?

This is the closest Example I can find in the link below. Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20415979645...b1b6%7Ciid%3A1 I want this style that will fit over the center housing of the axle bearing hub in the rear. I could take them off and measure But I am working late for the next few days and thought about going ahead and ordering some that would fit..

Re: Minimum Center Bore size of 14 Bolt FF rear axle
Update
After the Storm let up here. I got a jack and tools. I went back to my Collection. I dug out one of my spare 14 Bolt rear axles. I took a (Red neck) measure of 116mm /4.57" on the machined surface of center bore. My goal here is to get a set of rims that I can run what most people call Street tires on this truck. I got a Tire shop up the road that will mount the tires. When I look for Aftermarket rims, All I see is 8" wide rims. I am looking for the 6.5 like the stock rims. I may have to go with the aftermarket 8" wide and a tire to match.

Should be able to find some on Craigslist or marketplace. See stockers for sale all the time on either…
