Superchevy Is that your truck on your avatar? I use to have a very similar truck! Go to dragtruk.com and look at the bottom right truck on the home page doing the John Force Burnout! You can also look it up by my last name Tolliver.

Looks a little too good to be true, I would have to see some proof that it is unrestored with original paint. The rear bumper that they put on makes me even more suspicious.

It's been for sale for a while too...I think I've seen this link before. It'd be nice to find a 50th but not to sure this is a unrestored one tho...

Been on there for quite a while, came up on here like 6 months ago or so.
I've seen trucks stay for sale on there for over a year. |

didn't they start using the 307 in '68 to replace the 283?

There has got to be something wrong with it, being for sale that long and that price. The paint is way too shiny IMO. I have seen that style seat in these trucks before, I just threw one out after holding on to it for a few years.

Good eye, I never noticed that in the advertisement. |

Hooter,
Those are the original hubcaps. Seat cover looks original also, I have seen that style before but usually they are well worn, or covered over. The 307 is original to 1968 but the owner could be confused on this item. The paint look's to be the correct color, Most of the reprayed one'shave a little brighter color. The white looks a little to white, the correct should have been off/white or ivory. Overall a very nice example of a rare truck. Somebody get the location and have a boardmember check it out in person.

Looking closely at the wheel covers I guess they are the correct 67-68 wheel covers. It's just that the paint on them is very faded. I thought they were later early 90's covers at first.
The seat still looks incorrect to me though.

the one I bought today has the very same wheel covers on it-- so I'm guessing that they're the original equipment for the truck.. the only difference is the one I bought today came from the factory with a 327 v-8 in it.

All in all a nice clean truck.....but with all the questions and opinions he may have to adjust the price a bit to sell it.
