Where do the heater hoses connect to?
It's an AC cab. No heat or AC connected yet. Where do the heater hoses connect to on both ends? Pics would help. I'll deal with the AC later. And not sure why the pic uploaded sideways. Thanks again.

Flip for ya
3/4 goes to the water pump. 5/8 goes to the intake.

Re: Where do the heater hoses connect to?
You might want to test your existing heater core with just plain water before putting any coolant into the system. There is usually a reason your heater core has been disconnected

Re: Where do the heater hoses connect to?
The PO said the heater core was leaking. But he gave me a heater core for a non ac cab. I'll just buy the correct one.

Re: Where do the heater hoses connect to?
Just a suggestion.
Look at your fittings on the Water pump and intake. They will tell the story. Some Square bodies had a connection on the radiator. A lot changes over the years.

Re: Where do the heater hoses connect to?
What year? I don't know about early years but my 72 AC truck has a valve that turns off the water to the heater core when AC is on. It otherwise is open to allow for flow to assist in avoiding cylinder head hot spots during warm up. The supply hose goes from the intake manifold to the valve mounted on the wheel well, to the core and then return from core to the radiator. You need the AC vacuum lines in working order for the valve to correctly function. I had to trace my lines to locate spits at the dash HVAC control. Once repaired all worked great.
