Finally done the hydroboost lines!
Took a very long time to come up with a way to run these lines to include a cooler, and keep it neat. No inner fenders yet, as they are being color matched to the truck.

Re: Finally done the hydroboost lines!
That looks like a 600-700 lb ft torque monster! What kind of trans and rear end?

Re: Finally done the hydroboost lines!
That's just insane (in a good way)! Why a locker instead of a regular posi? Does it chirp the tires during turns?

Re: Finally done the hydroboost lines!
Just the opposite. No clicks, clunks, or bangs, when turning corners. Just smooth lockup whenever you smash the go pedal.

Re: Finally done the hydroboost lines!
The True Track uses gearing internal to slip when needed and lock up as needed. I've used them on a number of hot rods and they worked well. They don't need posi additive since they don't use clutches.

Re: Finally done the hydroboost lines!
Gotta get it all back together first.
Started the engine swap last fall, and just kept getting deeper, and deeper, with changes. Hopefully by next spring it’s done. I’d be happy just hearing the engine run...but it needs everything from the collectors back... Plus all new brake lines for the narrowed rear... Finish the Vintage Air install. Bolt the custom transmission crossmember into place. Finish the rewire job under the hood. Speaking of hood...needs a hood with a 3” cowl of some sort. Doors are open, as the Mustang mirrors are being color matched. Single glass window install to do. (Because of the Mustang mirrors) That’s just off the cuff...

So, a stock restoration then.

Re: Finally done the hydroboost lines!
Auuuugh...no.
It ran too smooth with the old big block. No lumpity bump at all. I can’t leave anything stock, and never happy until I go too far...then I drop back to the last functioning combination.
