What is this transmission/shifter bracket?
Hi folks, I am trying to sell some parts on Craigslist, and this bracket came off of a frame from a 1969 Chevy C10 1/2 ton short bed truck, it was bolted up on the driver side had no engine or transmission in it at the time, but I have no idea what it was for
help identifying it is greatly appreciated |

Re: What is this transmission/shifter bracket?
It doesn't match any known automatic transmission linkages for the 67/72.

Re: What is this transmission/shifter bracket?
Its for automatic transmission linkage. That bolts to the inside of the frame then another bracket slips onto that long pin and attaches to the transmission shifter. It, when assembled takes up movement from torque.
