71-72 windshield trim
SOLD
Very nice OEM trim correct for 71-72 models. I can only find 7 blemishes in total. Some are the size of a pen point. All are pretty minor. I think this will polish up very nicely. I pointed out the 7 blemishes with pine needles in the pics below. The upper trim piece is shown in this post. The lower trim pieces are shown in post #2. $130 for the four pieces pictured. I would prefer not to ship, but I could deliver to parts of Wyoming, Nebraska, or New Mexico for free. Last edited by 402Bowtie; 02-27-2024 at 11:56 PM. |

Re: 71-72 windshield trim
Too bad there's not a good stainless guy your neighborhood? I know of a master in Texas. A mint molding is worth what, $600-700? The Texan costs $300ish, with shipping. That trim really is in good shape though.

Re: 71-72 windshield trim
Thanks Tony. I agree; I can't imagine there being too much time to bring these pieces to 100 pt condition.

Re: 71-72 windshield trim
Don't think it would take much to restore these pieces back to perfect. Even some time on the buffing wheel alone would have them looking very nice. ttt

I'd be interested in buying this trim whenever you take the trip to Columbus, OH.

Re: 71-72 windshield trim
Still working out the details, but I am guessing that I will be going through Indiana sometime on 2/27.

For anyone else who wants to get in line on this item or any other parts I have for sale, I will be driving I-80 across Nebraska to Grand Island, then to Columbus, NE, then to Des Moines, then to Peoria, Indianapolis, and Columbus. Probably returning to Colorado on I-70 the entire way. |
