Best quality turn signal mechanism - the lost thread

Evening all,

Still alive, just life keeping me from updating on my progress.

However, I have just broken my turn signal mechanism - long story - and remember seeing a thread earlier about the different quality of repop products.

Can I find it? Nope.

So, if anyone has any recommendations please speak now of forever hold your piece....

Thanks,

P.

Here-

I can attest that the cheap Cancelling Cams are junk- the part that the stalk attaches to.

Thanks!

The AC Delco one doesn’t appear to be in stock anywhere so going to go with the American Auto Wire version.

Appreciate your reply.

I put the American Autowire switch in my truck 9 years ago. Still going strong.

Re: Best quality turn signal mechanism - the lost thread

I just bought the one from LMC I had to take it apart and put the brass contacts from my stock piece in it to make it work right. The right hand signal cancels like normal. The left hand side cancelled for about a week and now it doesn't. Over all I'd say it's a giant piece of crap.
