yea we used to tell people to stay away from dlink as well untill our linksys router kept locking up and ruining hours and hours of downloads and such really really annoying we have had this router for about 4 months now and not a problem one. i think dlink had some problems before but they seem to have straightened it out. that linksys router about drove us nuts trying to figure out what the hell was causing the weird problems. finally replaced the router and whatdya know this one dont lock up

Yes I have not had much luck with D-link either, nor have customers or friends. I am partial to Linksys

Pick your self up a Linksys Gateway/4port switch. They are sweet. You can even get it in wireless.

I have a DLINK router wired/wireless....had a linksys...used Cisco....Have had no problems with any.

If you do go wireless....get the 802.11 B/G spec router and cards...

I dont know who is providing your internet service, but the RCA cable modem that Comcast gave me has a jack on the back for a network cable to plug into one other computer.
Soooo . . . . .
Look at the back of your modem, maybe you can plug in at least one more computer.

The item you are looking at is the same unit I use. I love it. Last time I looked they were are $50-60 new at office Depot & Circuit City. I think prices may have dropped a little to since then.

The Lynksys that your looking at is the same 1 I was speaking of.
The last time I checked Newegg they were about 44.00 shipped.
