I need to replace my 17" factory wheel with a small one. Pictures?

Looking for picture of 15" steering wheels. Thinking about getting a 1970 Chevelle wheel for my 1970 C10. Want the three spoke style 15" wheel that looks like a factory style Corvette or Chevelle wheel.

A real Corvette wheel from that '68-'75 timeframe is very thin. Make sure you try one out, you may not like it. In '76 they went to the "Vega" wheel and it was easier to grip.

The original in the 66 SS Chevelle is like that . The rim is very thin in diameter but I like it . What’s really amazing it has not one crack in it .

I also need to swap my OE 17" wheel for a 15" . Has anyone done this on a manual steering truck ? Hate to spend $300 and find out it's too hard to turn . Thanks !!

So a steering wheel from a late 80 to early 90 Chevy truck goes on easy peasy ? That might be a low buck option . Thanks !

I did it back in the early 90s, but I don't remember any issues.

Running a comfort grip as well in my truck. I love these wheels and have them in pretty much everything. Not sure on the auto columns but I used a 67/68 Camaro hub with my floor shift column.

I have one of these on my '69 with a tilt column. I'm not sure the horn contacts are the same as the standard column. If I recall correctly, the only thing that needs to be done with a tilt is to modify the horn contact. Attached are pics of the modifications I made. The first pic is a the original contact. The remaining pics show what I did.

There are at least 3 versions of that wheel. See the pics below. The first, which I used, is leather wrapped. It was on a '93 or '94 S10 Blazer LTD. It's a very comfortable wheel.

Am on my 2nd oem repro 17 inch steering wheel, the last one with the steel cracked like the first w/out. Wondering if the 15 inch wheel has been out long enough to know if it will hold up any better? thanks

Chinese crap may be your only choice if you want an OEM look wheel.
