later style 1971 1972 has a dimple for the push clip for the electrical wires and has a welded nut for the emergency brake cable hold down bracket.

Is the inner for a ‘70 different than all the others?

What if it has the welded nut but no dimple?

Re: NOS 67-69 67-72 left inner fender 3948449

In the 70 parts book 3980033 is listed so I think possibly that number could be 70 only. I was told that the reproduction inner fenders were made off the 71-72 inners . You will need to research all of that . A lot of changes like this were made mid year production also.

My original is in storage right now, but I will check it out when I get it out. I have an NOS right side. I wonder if it was different from the other years? I have some research to do.

Re: NOS 67-69 67-72 left inner fender 3948449

Price on this inner fender should be double now for a #'s matching 67-69 pickup resto armed with that fact as I can't imagine a handfull of true labeled NOS GM pre 1970 stamped wheelhouses left in the country. lol. If you really get deep into frame off building the 1973 GM trucks, you could find so many rolling changes from 1972 pre production in design and then on later part stampings and in many cases not even a part number change. Then sometimes the GM parts books may add a footnote on certain models need to modify part # by drilling/ cutting/ etc, for use on 1st design models. Good info Jon.

Probably a deal breaker but how much would shipping be to 68803?
