Hello

Re: Vent Window Questions
The vent window glass is held into the frame with Glass Setting Tape. There are videos on YouTube that show how to install it. This tape, along with the cloth window front track channel, can be purchased here:

Re: Vent Window Questions
Brothers Truck has a video that details on how to rebuild vent windows. I'm doing them myself also.

Re: Vent Window Questions
The window should stay in place even without and adhesive or glue. If it's loose you likely have the incorrect thickness Glass Setting Tape.
I noticed some vendors are calling it glass run channel seal. |

They never used any adhesive originally. The setting tape is impregnated with a tar like substance that adheres to the glass just enough to keep it in place. It might help if you heat the glass frame up a little bit to soften the tape, with a hair dryer after the glass is installed. Just go easy with it and let it cool back down before handling it......
