Wheel adapters

I just bought a 51 GMC 3/4 ton with 8 lug and single wheel rear end. It had no wheels on the back and had been in a junkyard for at least 30-40 years. On the back there were these adapters to go from 8 lug to im assuming bigger truck 6 lug. I got them off and on the back it says Lambert Products. I really haven't done much looking into them, anyone seen them before?

Re: Wheel adapters

looks like something someone repurposed from a front wheel dually conversion. all the way through the 90s the front wheels of dually had adapters like that.

Re: Wheel adapters

The 77 C 30 front end that I have stashed away for the 51 1-1/2 ton has a disk brake hub that works similar.

Too dark to go look to see if it is one or two piece though. .

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
