I have an 80 Jimmy & have a question about the Blk/Wht wire. Can't determine where this goes or what it connects to. It wasn't hooked up & found it dangling under the dash. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the part in the photo a foot dimmer switch?
Hogdaddy maybe onto something, because that wire does look like the connector for the seatbelt.

The dimmer is easy.

Single Black with White tracer terminated with a single Female Packard 56 terminal is not in any of the 79 or 80 wiring diagrams.
The insulation means it probably was routed near something that could damage unprotected wire.

Can you find that wire color elsewhere in the harness and test for continuity?
Maybe follow it?
