IA Dana 44 axle or parts

Dana 44 axle from a 1976 K20. Hubs are sold already, has 4.09 gears. I am keeping the axle shafts and will sell the rest of the axle. Or parts off of it.
$75 for the whole axle minus the shafts- SOLD

$20 each for caliper mounts/dust shields-SOLD

I pulled the hubs and spindles apart today. The dust shields around the spindles have rust holes. The spindles are good other than dimples from the previous owner pounding on them. Let me know if you're still interested.

looking at them after you disassembled them I am going to to pass, sorry the rust is too bad and someone hammered the heck out of the spindles. really sorry for the inconvenience.

no problem, I was surprised to see the marks on the spindles as well. I guess in our neck of the woods its good the dust shield are even still attached, usually those are long gone.

after thinking about it last night I might be able to chuck the spindles in my lathe and clean up the area behind the outer bearing. is it possible to put the nuts back on so the threads don't get damaged in shipping ? i'll take a chance on them, just P.M. me a total with your address and i'll get you a money order in the mail. i have a small hub front diff out of a 80 3/4 ton 4x4 that i can use the backing plates from, it's just i want the big hubs instead of the little ones like the 1/2 ton 4x4s use. i've built several sets of the big hubs with NOS parts and i figure i better use them on something before i get too damn old to play with my trucks anymore. thanks.

Sure- I'll put the nuts back on, get a price and PM you with a total. The bearing surfaces look good and the spindles overall look good besides the area where they took the beating.

spindles showed up today, thank you for packing them very well, the box looked like he!! but the spindles didn't get damaged.

Glad they made it, I was worried they would get beat up so I try to pack stuff like its going to the moon. I've noticed more stuff gets lost or smashed out west, but glad they made it. Thanks again
