4x4's of this vintage are relatively low production in comparison to overall production, especially in 67 and 68. That coupled with a 3 speed column shift (while prevalent on 2wd, most 4x4's had 4 speeds, and autos were not available until 70) makes the truck somewhat unique. So I'd say it was somewhat rare but not so much so it's value is any more than ither 4x4 3/4 tons made.

there is a small chance it could be a 50th anniversary special edition, and I have only seen a pic of one K20 that had this special treatment. It basically is a two tone white and gold exterior paint, white seats with gold cloth inserts, and gold interior pieces (visors, armrests, etc). Also has a special paint and interior codes on the glovebox sticker, I cant remember them off the top of my head right now.

Welcome to the board. I think that's a pretty unusual combinatioin for a 68 4X4 3/4 ton. Have any pictures??

Not familiar with the 4x4s in our years, but that does sounds like a different combo from what I have seen and heard. Welcome to the board from the south end of Mississippi!
