another stupid drop question

I am doing a 5/7 on my GMC & am gonna be using a flip kit on the rear. My question is what is the best way to do the other 2"? Front shackle perch relocate & rear shackle or a 2" block.

I told myself when I started this project that I'd make as many of the parts myself as I could. If I modify my rear shackles, do I just add 1" of metal to the shackle to = 1" of drop or if Im gonna go through the work, go ahead & just drop the other 2" in the shackle & then what happens to the pinion angle?

OK, I'm done with the dumb questions now, well at least until the next one...corn

If you did the front hanger(2" drop) and rear shackle(1-2" drop) you'd end up with an 8-9" rear drop. I'd suggest the shackles due to ease of install.

Nope. 73-04's are all 2" drop hangers. The shackle can be 1-2".
