Leveling bed floor fr carpet?
Any idears on how yr leveling yr floor before placing carpet down?
I cut strips of sound deadening and placed those in the low area's of the floor, then cut the same material out and fit itin the bed over the entire floor area then put carpet down. Unless someone has a better idear, I'm open fr suggestions. Thanks.

I think that’s probably the best way to do it. Strips of rubber in the slots may work since. I’m lucky enough to have leveling mats in mine. Too bad they aren’t reproduced.

Re: Leveling bed floor fr carpet?
I bought 1/4" foam. Cut strips about 1" wide to put in the low spots, then cut the foam to fit the entire floor. I put plastic down and used 3m interior and upholstery spray adhesive to glue it together.
Then I relieved any high spots with a knife and drew a large X onto each hole that goes through the floor so I can find them easier. I paid $145 for 175 sq ft of acoustic foam, and this used about 40-50 sq ft, so it cost about $40 for the foam and about $20 for glue. Floor feels great. Can't tell where the high metal spots are. Took about 8 hours to make the bed floor mat.
