Aftermarket Chevy Corvette Style Rallys?????????

I am considering buying a set of 15X8 5 on 5 aftermarket Corvette Style Rally wheels (painted wheels, stainless rings, and metal derby caps). There are many venders (several on ebay) and I would like any information that you have in regards to the quality of products offered.

Thanks for the help.

Mike

Mike....I bought my chrome replacements from Wheel Vintiques. You have to be careful with caps though...you should buy the caps from whomever you get the wheels from...I have seen variances in wheel opening sizes for caps. I believe BARN9 posted a thread about this.

Questions & more Questions?????????

Thanks for the info, one of the questions I have been asking the venders is if the factory caps will fit there wheels.

A couple of questions:
What wheel & tire combinations are you running on your trucks and what suspension mods if any does your trucks have?

I am leaning towards 2.5 spindles, either modifying the front springs or using 2" drop springs, and 4" drop rear leafs, with 1.5 or 2" hangers, on a set of 15X8, 4.25 offset US Wheel Corvette Style rallys with stainless rings and metal derby cheverlot caps, with BF goodrich TA's 245/60-15 on front and 275/60-15 on rear.

American tire here in Eugene has the tires on sale (mounted and balanced for $268 and they will match an ebay vender on the wheels at $420.

What do you guys think?????

sounds like good combo

Look forward to spotting your truck around town. Do you drive it daily?

I have had great luck with that America Tire shop myself. Is that wheel price with caps and rings? I have bought a few sets of tires form the assistant manager there and he has always treated me well, can't think of his name right now, I want to say Brian. I have had them match Costco prices and give superior service.

Take care.
