Sun Shield?

Been looking around for a sun shield to maybe keep the interior a bit cooler (and block UV rays) when parked out in the sun. The ones I have found are too tall -- modern vehicles with their laid-back windshields need more height than our older, more upright windshields. Anyone have a source for something that fits? Or should I just get one that's too tall and cut it to fit? Thanks, guys.

Re: Sun Shield?

.

I like the light fabric ones lined with a bendy strip of metal. They come out of the package as a circle of fabric and expand to square windscreen sized sun blockers. One side is black for winter to absorb heat where the other side reflects heat.

They're easy on/off, lightweight and easy to store in cab. Just buy a set for a small car and they'll wedge in there just fine!

I think they're called "twist sunshades" and are sold in the auto section of big box stores and various other auto related retailers.
