'67 Chevy Pacesetter Special
Never heard of this one. Interesting truck, a six cylinder C-10 with Custom Appearance Group and radio. HD suspension and 292 also available. I'd buy one!

Three speed ? I had a 292 with a three on tree , it constantly ripped out motor mounts.

Re: '67 Chevy Pacesetter Special
Looks like a local dealer made up his own package by selecting RPO codes they thought would be popular in their market.
I wonder if they got their own badging, like the "Timberliner" or "Contender" ones did.

Re: '67 Chevy Pacesetter Special
It was on a mailer from Chevrolet Division. No idea if it was a regional program. I wonder if there was a R.P.O. for it.

Re: '67 Chevy Pacesetter Special
RPO for 292 L6 is L25.
I find it interesting that this package includes ''Bright Metal Trim'' on grille, headlamp bezels and windshield. I thought that didn't come on line until the '68 Model Year.

Re: '67 Chevy Pacesetter Special
IDK. Mine came with a 292 L6 and an SM465. Solid drivetrain. Only time it came loose, it was my doing. I loosened the motor mounts to rotate the block about 15* to get the #5 and 6 pushrods back in after a valve job. Couldn't get the Pass side mounts rebolted. Took it to a shop I went to for brakes. They got it back in, but they laughed at me.

Re: '67 Chevy Pacesetter Special
I believe it was the first ever package of popular options for pickups grouped together at a special lower price.
