Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

I’m going to paint the 1970 K10 4X4 Short Bed. It’s all original sheet metal and what’s left of the original paint. I’m leaning towards 2 tone color scheme but not with white down the middle. Show me your 504 Medium Green truck! Bonus if it’s a short bed and super bonus if it’s a K10 shortie.

Also known as "Willow Green Metallic" if it is a 1972 GMC. I won't post a pic since mine is pretty ugly.

Seems to have faded slightly toward the mint flavor palette externally. It had oxidized to look silver when I got it

Re: Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

no longer in my barn, but my 71 had a hodge podge of PO bad repaint and correctly mixed rattle can for the panels I replaced or touched up, wasn't too purdy, but it sure drove nice. FWIW, I vote two tone (as in Custom Two Tone - either 556 like Greg's or 557, the reverse). My K20 is 557 but no point in posting, it's awaiting paint and a few thousand other things at the moment. The medium olive roof on my 72 C20 is also awaiting paint, and a few thousand other things.

Re: Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

Here's a couple K trucks I've had over the years
although not short beds

I think it is a great idea you paint it
Personally, I'd paint it to match the spid
Although, white top would be great match to the interior

If you read through the posts on 504 custom tints, you'll see that it's not an easy thing to match, particularly in 2-stage

Re: Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

If you want something you don't see every day, here's one I found online several years back and saved the images due to the odd factory two-tone color combination, medium olive with a yellow roof. Here's the online article about the truck.

Thumbs up Re: Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

Opinion is that a white top with fresh medium olive would be sharp,

Re: Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

Here's another comparison of a non trim truck
Not 4x4 but good comparison none the less
Plus white bumpers
When I got it it was all white when someone repainted it years prior
I put it back to what spid read

Re: Post the pictures of your 504 Medium Olive Trucks

Love this thread! Was going to go with olive on my 68, but am leaning towards a light silvery blue with blue and black interior. It was factory white with blue interior. Still have the original blue visors, but could easily go full color change at this point, working on the cab now.
