Fixing holes in '72 door panels.

The previous owner decided to add two more holes to screw the door panels to the door instead of buying new clips. One panel is flawless but the other has two extra holes. These particular panels have one factory screw hole.
There are ways to fix or fill holes into plastic like plastic welding, just wondering if anyone has done plastic hole repair before. Thanks.

There are several options for plastic repair that I have used in the past.

I have used JB weld and just recently I use the plastic weld kit from HF.

I suggest practicing on a scrap piece if you have not used the weld kit before.

It actually does a pretty good job.

If you were to use the plastic weld kit on the back to fill the hole.

Then after it cools off, You could use Jb weld or something similar to fill it flush on the front.
Because Jb weld is very easy to sand and form.

I have used a piece of vinyl with a Grain pattern in it to create a similar grain of that on the door panel, dash or part I was working on.
It is similar to doing a vinyl repair.
