66 wide tailgate mods
I have orginial wide tailgate. I have seen some with the spot welded curled portion cut off then welded up. Then looks like one piece stamping. Outside of rear side. Also put in matching side on edges = 1 piece tailgate stamping. Just want to know where to make cuts at top edge, just along top edge of spot welded strip or try to cut a an angle so will meet at face of tailgate? Want on minimize distortion.. Minor question but want it nice or close to perfect!
