Does anyone know if factory used a grommet to support the cable going thru this bracket

Re: Emergency brake cable
I used repro Inline Tube rear PB cables, and they went right into the frame brackets, and were retained in place with a special spring clip. My original clips were weak and rusty, but the ones on my donor 72 Blazer were great.
The clip part numbers: Front 3977094 Rear LH 3975185 Rear RH 3975186
