Ambulance
This is the Leesburg Fla fire department back in the day. I grew up in Tampa and my family had friends close to this fire station. I thought some of you would enjoy seeing this.

Re: Ambulance
Very cool photo. Reminds me of the TV series Emergency.

Re: Ambulance
Speaking of the Emergency! ambulance.
The actual screen used Chevy ambulance was recently located and restored to close to original appearance. https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=830138 https://www.lacountyfiremuseum.com/p...let-ambulance/

Re: Ambulance
I looked at one for sale in 1986 that was 402, Turbo 400, tilt wheel, and bucket seats and console for $1,200. I was only making like $175 a week and couldn’t afford it!

Re: Ambulance
We had a '69 GMC (2wd, short step) in Orange/Red.
The Fire Chief lived down the street from us. He liked our truck so much he ordered a long wheel base 4wd version and had it equipped as a brush truck. K
