Radiator support mounting

My memory is failing me. Is the bushing correct in the attached photo? Or does the upper bushing go between the support and frame. Can't find a diagram anywhere for these GMCs.

The bushings go on the top and below the mounts on the frame rails - core sits on the top bushing.

If you don't know, at first tighten both a little bit, in sequences to a pinch less than the lowest torque value for those bushings, should be level and stable, as a starting point. You'll know when to attach the fenders. When assembly is established, tighten the entire assembly in sequences. The bushing torque should be equal assuming stuffs still square, and generally speaking, the torque value for them should be at or moderately above the lowest setting, moderate compression, and do not destroy a bushing, too much torque they're toast....Good and snug for lack of a better term. Mine (rubber) were torqued by eye and feel to approximately 35 foot lbs. Check manufacturer's recommendation for an idea.

Speak of, on a side, my replacement bushings required a wider flat washer than what was in the kit. No way the kit's little washer works for more than 15ish pounds.

Big ones on bottom, little on top of the frame rail mount. They sandwich the mount on the rails. The square washer goes on top the support. The hole in square washer is slightly off center allowing for room needed on two of the sides. This provides more position movement to align the fenders. Don't completely tighten until you have the fenders in position needed to square up the hood gap.
