What does your board name mean?

I have not seen this in a while.. Out of curiousity, what does your board name mean? Some are simple, some have a deeper meaning. What does yours mean? Mine is me.. nothing more, nothing less

Re: What does your board name mean?

Mine is a name I use across my social media that started out on Xbox when I was 13/14 years old. I had my 68 Camaro SS/RS and I was keeping myself up to my eyeballs in learning anything and everything first gen Camaro. I then have just kept is as Ive met quite a few friends and people over the years so its almost my "brand" now at this point, 15+ years later. So you can search my name here for youtube, instagram, xbox live or steam.

Re: What does your board name mean?

The ‘55-‘59 trucks were nicknamed the Taskforce line. My screen name comes from my ‘57 3100. On the Camaro sites I go by AquaBlue RS/SS… for my Aqua Blue Metallic colored 2010 2SS/RS Camaro.

Re: What does your board name mean?

Mine is simply my name and birthday. I used 58 all my life for different things, jersey number, car number in Demo Derby etc.

Got the nickname while I was in the US Navy. Seems like they take your name and do with it what they will. Kerry Wootton

Re: What does your board name mean?

Having been a member here since July of '01 my board name reflects back to when I was heavy into the world of CB radios in mid 60's and on. Yup, I'm an old man, closer to 76 than I am to 75, LOL. When I returned home from Vietnam in April of '70 I got back into CB again. I had purchased a '69 F*** Mustang Mach 1, just under 12,000 miles and gave $2,600 for it. Couldn't touch it today for $26,000! I needed a CB "handle" for skip talking and general usage. Being a Mustang is a horse and cars and trucks are made from iron that was a perfect fit. I became "Ironhorse" for a good number of years. Sold the Mach 1 in a weak moment (yeah it was a Ford but wish I had the sense back then to keep it, LOL). Flash forward several years and I bought my rusted, beat, and wore out '71 Chevy 4x4. Wanted to clean it up and found this website and needed a board name. Tried several but they were already in use so.....fall back to my old "Ironhorse" which still seemed to fit. Men rode horses years ago daily and now they ride in trucks. Again trucks are made with iron so there again I found my board name.....Ironhorse

HA!

Mine was a generated password from some antiquated system long ago. I adopted it because it's rather unique and very non descriptive...a string of characters that I can use EVERYWHERE as my userid and it will 100% of the time NOT ALREADY HAVE BEEN USED by someone else!

Re: What does your board name mean?

My board name is from a memory of one of the last times I seen My Daddy happy.

Before he passed, I bought a Tape of the (Blue Collar Comedy Tour)
for his birthday present.

Every time Larry would say "Git-R-Done!" Daddy would start laughing.

I change the spelling a little and Hence the board name.

Re: What does your board name mean?

First name is Steven, first syllable of my two-word last name is "De". My mom wanted to call me "Stevie" when I was growing up, and called me "Steven" when I was in trouble. I grew up being called Steven, as I was right little **** growing up. In memory of mom, "Steevee" and to make a spelling rhyme, "dee". Steeveedee. Simples.
