Sweet truck. I would change the title, You call it a c 20 which is 2wd. I would change the searchable title from
1987 Chevrolet : Silverado C20
to
87 Chevy k20 SWB 4wd 4x4 NP205 dana 44 60

You will get a lot more viewers.

Sure it doesn't have a dana 60, but that is the hot search string. Half of what comes up on a "dana 60" search is not a dana 60, It's what you search on if you want to see 4x4 stuff.

Why does it say 1-ton in your post subject?
False advertising.

I meant 3/4 ton. Sorry Tim, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

that is a nice truck, but is it a K/10 with 3/4 ton axles swapped in?
i'm pretty sure in '87 it would have used a 10 bolt front, but I am not positive. did they make 3/4 ton shorties? sorry, I'm just curious.

It started out as a 3/4 ton long bed and we chopped the frame and made it a short bed

Either that or it was a set he got somewhere, because the letters/lines are in Black, as are the Needles. That look's wicked nice, I might have to do that.
