adding windshiled antenna
Hello all,
Windshield is out during paint, new windshield will have the antenna in the glass,, My 89 v2500 has it on the fender.. How/where are the connections if i wanted to use the window antenna and remove the fender mount? Been looking around the net and have not found much. |

Re: adding windshiled antenna
I did that conversion on my 78 C-10. Although that was 20+ years ago, everything I needed I got from LMC and the installation was a piece of cake.

Re: adding windshiled antenna
I don't know about the 89 models, but in my 78 the antenna cable plugged into the radio and affixed to the windshield antenna with a snap connector. There was a notch in the dash pad to feed the cable through. Hope this helps.
