Door Bottom Rust
I need some advice about door bottom rust. I'm assuming that the rust I'm experiencing on my '76 is pretty common to our trucks.
Are doors fully interchangable from 73-87? Is there ANY point in trying to fix the rust with patches, or is finding better doors at the wrecker a better bet? Thanks for any help that you can offer.

if youre good with a welder and body work, you can get the patch panels from LMC or the like and just change it out of curse you can get aftermarket doors for about $120 skins but youll have to go for new weatherstrip too

If all doors from 7-87 interchange...I think I'm off to the wrecker. My door panels are hammered anyway, and the previous owner decided to spruce them up with white spray paint (its a brown interior).
It's probably a good idea to change the weatherstripping anyway isn't it? Poor seals caused the rust problem in the first place.
