Tire wheel combo opinions

Life has been busy for the past several years, so I haven’t been on in quite a while. In any case, I’m now wanting to put new rims & tires. Would you guys mind giving some opinions?

With 17” wheels (width - 7” front and 8” rear)
235/65 front and 245/65 rear

Or

With 16” wheels (width - 7” front and 8” rear)
235/70 front and 245/70 rear

I’m not necessarily crazy about the staggered look, but I’m thinking this will allow me to fill out the wheel well a little better with custom backspacing.

I’ve thought about switching to a square body rear end, which would make the track width roughly the same front and back, but that’s obviously a lot more complicated due to spring mounts, etc.

Thank you for your opinions/thoughts!

Re: Tire wheel combo opinions

Since you have it narrowed down to 16" or 17" rims,
I would compare the prices of the tires you prefer to make the final decision.
