Re: Custom Emblems

I went to a local machinist and had custom engine displacement badges made. The pricy part was inputting my design and making the program. Was not much more for a few extra sets. IMO not really to much $ for what I got. They gave me the program as well.

Wanted to add- all the online places I contacted would not make my badges as they said the script/logo I wanted was copyrighted by GM.

I am on the hunt also Donnie. I did find this place.

https://dizzycustom.com/

They have a custom emblem request form on the site but I'm not sure how you would get exactly what you wanted unless you had a picture or something.....

Re: Custom Emblems

Do you want the emblems made out some type of metal or can they just be vinyl graphics?

I added the https:// in front of your web address to make it a clickable link. Hope you don't mind.... If that is not included with the web site address you can add it with no spaces to make the link clickable.

Agreed. The amount of people that don't realize it's not original is funny

They are one of the places i contacted that would not make a badge with "LSA" on it. There are limitations. My badges came out awesome and I spent the money local.

I sent a quote request to https://billetbadges.com for the badges I drew up in the first picture, with the 8.1 recessed, the 496 raised, and the Allison Transmission recessed.

The second picture is the way they would have to do it, but they said that the Allison Transmission part could be either raised or recessed. 8.1 would be where the 8 is, 496 would be where the 540 is and the Allison Transmission would have to be where the fuel injected is.

Here is the quote:

Quote:
Here is a quote based on your specifications.

(Quantity 2) 3/16" thick, approx. 1.5 x 6" custom shape Billet Badges with < 8.1 496; ALLISON TRANSMISSION > text, brushed aluminum and milled unpainted - $270.00 ($135/each)

Unique One Time 3-D Design and Programming Fee - $135.00

Shipping & Handling - $15.00

Total - $420.00 USD
Mine would have no paint on them at all. I can't justify spending that much but I don't know anything about CNC work. Maybe it takes that much work to make them.....

If anyone wants to use my design feel free to do so. I couldn't find anything like it on the net.....

Re: Custom Emblems

.

Just gotta love the simplicity and beauty of that number though...

420

...I know I do.

.

About 4 years ago I hired a crew (2 spanish speaking men) to come in and do some drywall repair and a touch up paint correction in my house pre-sale. They told me they would be there at 3pm. At 2pm, I burned a little mary jane in my master bath $hit closet, door closed, exhaust fan running...

They showed up about 10 minutes after that...way early...

Later that afternoon, they were done and left an invoice for the damages. Take a guess what the number on that sucker was. I'll give you 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count....
