Ebay speedometers

Are the ebay speedos ok for replacing original?

Fire repairs are close to complete. I had the truck out running in the EFI and checking for other bugs. Tranny dip stick leaks. The speed worked for about an hour then quit. I noticed some jumping pre-fire. Tomorrow I plan on pulling the cable end off and testing for cable damage. The cable seemed ok during assembly. Sort of wondering if 50 yr old speedo took a hit from heat.
