Talking Thirty Years Today!

My title says I've owned my truck for 30 years today!

Decided it was time to finally plumb in my water service after having the meter sitting out on the easement forever.

Not because I needed drinking water or maybe a shower or something...naw.

But because my truck is filthy after driving it all winter and needs to be washed today!

...priorities ya know.

Re: Thirty Years Today!

Thank you. 🙂

No monthly car payments for the last 30 years has been great!

My '69 Stepside has done it all as a daily driver for all that time and I ain't complaining.

I'm retired now and I see no reason to change anything, the truck still gets me to town and back just like it always has.

...oh yea, Sideways Saturday shot.

Re: Thirty Years Today!

Congratulations
In May I’ll be celebrating my 33rd year since I found “The Truck”.
My son was 10 weeks old when I bought her, so he has never known anything different.
He grew up in/on/under that truck, and now has the same passion for old vehicles as I do.
Next month he’ll be home on leave,(yeah, he followed in my footsteps and has been in the Army for seven years) and we’ll be doing the Disc Brake conversion that I’ve been putting off for a long time.
