bed floor replacement

All,
with all of your rebuilding of square body beds, what manufacture has the better or best quality of truck bed floors. I'm sure some are "squarer" than others, the gauge of metal, how well they fit, how hard or easy they are to work with, what brands or suppliers to stay away from.

Any replies and / or links would be appreciated.

Thank you

Re: bed floor replacement

Chances are there are only 1-2 makers of bed floors, and I'd bet you won't be able to find out who made them.

Re: bed floor replacement

If you are after repair pieces instead of a complete bed floor, might be able to find a damaged bed and cut out some of the still good floor. More work then buying new but would be a good match for OEM metal.

Re: bed floor replacement

Used AMD for my bed floor and several other pieces, yet to assemble. Out of the box the fender was comparable to NOS OEM I managed to find years back.

I used a KeyParts bed floor I got through Summit. Compares equal to stock as far as I can tell. Very happy with it. I would also trust AMD, but this is what Summit had, and the shipping was cheap compared to LMC, who quoted me $1400 to ship a $1000 bed floor. Shipping with Summit was $150.
