very nice truck BUT...now this is just my opinion so don't get on me about it because you won't sway me the other way, this truck would be worth much more if they had the correct bed. I think this bed looks better on the 5' or so but not this era.
Very nice truck though.

That is nice, but it would be nicer if he would get a different steering wheel and painted the tranny cooler black. I wouldn't pay 11k for it. It looks to be worth 6-7k.

ditto
By all means, this is a great looking truck. Yet I am not sold on the bed swap either, even though it works "pretty good" with this one. I prefer the lines of the stock bed...but that is JMO. If I could have another truck in the driveway, this one would be nice to have.

its a nice resto but 11K is too rich for my blood... its already custom so the newer bed is no biggie

I'm not a fan of newer beds in our older trucks, but this truck really kicks azz.

I am not a fan of the bed either but at least they tried to do it right by cutting the back step off.

I don't mind the new beds on these trucks. What bugs me is when they do not take the time to change the front wheel wells to match the back ones. That squared wheel opening with the round one up front just isn't right.

The body does seem to look very nice but be careful about that. If it was a freshly painted truck then imperfections may not have showed up yet. Bondo is always a concern for any truck so find out all that you can.
Just a side note I really don't care too much for the late model bed. It takes away from the truck and just makes it look like a late model with older style parts.

The truck looks sharp, but like all the others, the bed needs to be ripped off and sold to some one with a new truck.

Truck looks real nice. Many of us don't like the new style bed, some do. Looks like the person put in a lot of work on the truck and to me it comes out looking great. As junkyardjohn said though, be carefull. The camera can hide a lot of things. Don't know if I'd pay that much, but I have mine as a project to work and build on, nit just to drive or show.

that's the way i'm planning on doing mine, at least most of the body work. i know i'll be flamed for doing that to my truck, but i like it and that is all that counts.

That's a real nice lookin truck.
I like those 67-68 factory bucket seats in there. They spent A LOT of time block sanding that body. It may indeed have filler, probably does, but it is smooth. It's hard to hide bad bodywork under black paint. SC |
