Bolt on doors or front clip first?

I just slapped the assembled front clip on the frame, no hood. But the doors are not quite ready to get bolted to the cab and are therefore not installed yet--should be ready in a few days. Should I install, adjust and tighten the doors BEFORE fully bolting the front clip to the cab/frame?

Doors first, align them to the cab. Then the front fenders, align them to the door.

Doors first as you can't get to the hinge bolts if the fenders are on.

LOL So I had already roughly installed the front clip and when I went to unbolt it I realized this, WOW. If I had gone through the trouble to get the metal aligned( to what?...) I woulda been pissed to find I had to take it all off again to access those bolts....

Re: Bolt on doors or front clip first?

It’s a pain but the bolts can be accessed with the front clip installed . Just need a set of these or just heat up a box end and bend it . Much easier to align the roofs to the cab then the clip to the fenders but even that’s a crap shoot as I’ve had to fudge the lines to get them acceptable. So that’s where the wrenches come in handy
