Original 2 BBL Carburetor Question

Hey carb gurus, I'm trying to figure out exactly what carburetor would have originally been on my 1970 C/10 with a 307. When I looked it up in the 67-72 Parts Manual the best I could come up with is a Rochester R2-2GV, PN 7040105. I wanted to be certain before I try to locate one. Thanks.

Re: Original 2 BBL Carburetor Question

I have the 2GV on my 307. It’s a great carb when it is set up properly. I had mine rebuilt by a shop in Philly. I did have to install a fuel pressure regulator to keep it from flooding by the over pressure from late model fuel pumps. Mikes Carburetor Shop is a great source for 2GV parts.
