Wanted "cut" 1972 GMC Suburban front fender

Had an accident with our 72 GMC Suburban. May be in need of a "cut" from front left fender (top). We will try and pull it but trying to develop a plan "B"
Prefer in Canada source to reduce shipping and transportation costs.
Thankyou

You can access that damage from inside the fender and pound it out. Maybe shape a piece of wood and slowly work it out. That doesn’t look too bad

Try a paintless dent repair professional first, that looks like a nice Suburban.

Re: Wanted "cut" 1972 GMC Suburban front fender

Thanks for the hints. My bodyman is going to weld a plate on it and pull.
It is very strong in that area. Stay tuned for progress report !
Truck was my dads. New in 1972. I did a frame off rotisserie restoration.
It was pretty good condition.

Hello. I'm sorry to see you're fender bender.
I wish you good luck with your repairs but, if you have to go with plan B I have a cutting for you
If you should need it.
GL to ya.

Re: Wanted "cut" 1972 GMC Suburban front fender

Plate welded on today and pull applied. Results less than satisfactory so it will be plan B. I have a few lines out to local "collectors" . I have a few days to make a decision before my buddy needs his body shop space back.
Thanks HWY-STAR for the offer ,I may take you up on it. I have a US postal address which would keep costs down. The cut would be 1" behind the vertical side marker light and 1" below the projected line of the side marker light. Wait until I have investigated local guys. Many thanks.

Many thanks to Hwy Star who was able to provide a rust free " cut " .
Piece is now stitched in and final finishing will happen in next few days.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions.
Soon to be back at local car meets !
